Hi all,
Well December is now upon us, and whether we're ready or not the festive
season is here, and it's time for us to let you know about our gigs for this
Christmas.

We decided to have a well deserved break over Xmas itself and therefore
no gigs are planned until after Christmas.

On the Saturday 27th of December we are playing at the The Great Berry Club(SS16 6SA) in Basildon, from 8.45 - 11.15. The Great Berry club is in Nightingales in the beautiful village of Langdon Hill.

On the 29th of November made an appearance with The Gex Pistols in Stavanger in Norway, the Chevrons are attempting to establish a following
in this country.


All that remains is for us to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and hope
to see you at one of our future gigs.

The Farmers Boy is a great venue in St Albans with many people helping
to celebrate the return of The Chevrons. Overall a great solid performance with
all the favourites,all the attitude and some new material too.

Red Sea House (Stavanger)      
Due to the demand 2 of The Chevrons performed with The Gex Pistols at the
refurbished and vibrant Red Sea House
Once again Dave and Tony flew to Norway along with the Pistols and the band
did a tight three hour set
.


THE ROSE & CROWN
The show was the Chevrons third pass through this neighborhood in the last year,
and the first half of the set list was a welcome change-up. Davey delivered clean-
shriek guitar breaks back-to-back on "Only Thing I Want" and the self penned gem "So Rude."
He also showed off his sweet-country touch in the ballad "Girl From
Yesterday" while Terry turned up the impassioned-hayseed factor with
his gravel vocal.

Calls for a real encore by going off stage for about two minutes and then coming back on to play 'Somebody help me Please' before leaving for the journey home
to London
.

GRAND JUNCTION ARMS
Dave Galt was inundated with pound notes stuffed under guitar strap showing
their appreciation of his guitar playing at The Grand Junction.

All in all a good gig for The Chevrons

THE BLACK HORSE
This was a good little gig with the band playing to a packed out pub in good
Christmas spirit.
The band received 2 encores including their own punk version of a White Christmas

MERRY XMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR from THE CHEVRONS

The Chevrons will be recording live DVD to an invited audience of fans in February 2009
